Pre-K program at L’Academy
Our language immersion preschool and Pre-K programs for children ages 3 to 6 support kindergarten readiness, creativity, and whole-child development through Reggio Emilia and Montessori-inspired, play-based learning. Older children guide younger peers, promoting collaboration and social learning. We welcome both native speakers and children who speak only English at home.
Inspired by Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and play-based methods, our program focuses on hands-on, project-based learning that supports cognitive, emotional, and social development. Children build confidence and critical thinking skills through creative exploration.
We offer Mandarin and Spanish language immersion programs alongside English, helping children build bilingual communication skills, confidence, critical thinking, and a strong foundation for kindergarten readiness. Language programs vary by location.
Social and Emotional Development
At L’Academy, we understand that the preschool years are crucial for building strong social, emotional, and academic skills. We focus on nurturing:

Pre-K
Our Pre-K program prepares children ages 4 to 5 for kindergarten readiness with a focus on early learning, literacy development, and growing independence. The key differences in Pre-K include:
