The Preschool and Pre-K program at L’Academy
Our preschool program for children ages 3 to 5 fosters whole child development in a mixed-age classroom. Older children guide younger peers, promoting collaboration and social learning. We welcome both native speakers and children who speak only English at home.
Inspired by Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and play-based methods, our program focuses on hands-on, project-based learning that supports cognitive, emotional, and social development. Children build confidence and critical thinking skills through creative exploration.
We offer Spanish and Mandarin immersion programs, helping children develop bilingual skills as well as cognitive skills, memory, and problem-solving abilities.
Social and Emotional Development
At L’Academy, we understand that the preschool years are crucial for building strong social, emotional, and academic skills. We focus on nurturing:
