At L’Academy in Midtown Sacramento, we offer nurturing, language-rich programs that support your child’s development from infancy through transitional kindergarten (TK). We provide full-time, year-round preschool and daycare for children ages 5 months to 6 years. At L’Academy, we help unlock each child’s cognitive potential through immersive, play-based learning. Our mission is to nurture every child through a curriculum rooted in Mandarin and/or Spanish language immersion, guided by compassion, creativity, and joy. Yvette Pimentel
Director
Ms. Yvette has over 12 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, beginning her career teaching a toddler classroom and growing into her role as a Preschool Director. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and values open communication with families to build strong partnerships in each child’s learning journey.
As a bilingual educator, she loves introducing children to the joy of learning new languages and creating a welcoming environment where families feel connected and supported.
What she loves most about working at L’Academy is the opportunity to connect with children and families in meaningful ways while sharing the excitement of language learning.
Sabrena
Lead Infant Teacher
Ms. Sabrena is a dedicated educator with over six years of experience in the Early Childhood Education field. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she is currently pursuing a degree in Early Education and enjoys working with children of all age groups. In her spare time, she loves reading and spending quality time with family and friends. Ms. Sabrena is committed to helping others gain valuable insights into the developmental needs of young minds and is excited to bring her skills and passion to L’Academy.
Michelle Wu
Lead Toddler Teacher
Ms. Michelle has a rich background in early childhood education and a passion for child development. Her experiences, combined with her degree in Psychology & Social Behavior, make her an asset to any educational setting. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, exploring new places, and indulging in hobbies like bullet journaling and getting Boba. Ms. Michelle’s enthusiasm for working at L’Academy is sure to bring a lot of positive energy to the team.
