L’Academy Potrero Hill Hosts the 2026 San Francisco International Children’s Art Festival

On June 1st, International Children’s Day, the 2026 San Francisco International Children’s Art Festival was held, co-hosted by the For Future Foundation and L’Academy. This year’s exhibition is on display at our Potrero Hill location at 200 Kansas St, showcasing the work of more than 50 young artists from countries including the United States, Canada, France, Russia, China, India, the Philippines, and Nepal.

This year’s theme is “Lighting Up the Future with Color,” to build a bridge of communication between children from different cultural backgrounds through art. Celebrating diversity is core to our mission at L’Academy, where children learn to communicate, connect, and see the world through more than one cultural perspective.

California State Treasurer Fiona Ma attended the opening ceremony and presented certificates of recognition to outstanding young artists around the world.
