Director: Noemi Gomez
Ms. Noemi Gomez, the Director of L’Academy Fairfield, has been working with children for as long as she can remember—from helping classmates translate when she was little to teaching Sunday school as a teen. Now, as an adult, she sees how important it is for kids to have positive role models and mentors in their lives.
As the Director of L’Academy Fairfield, Ms. Noemi takes pride in leading with understanding, compassion, and a commitment to always improving. Providing quality care is very important to her, and that starts with building a strong, supportive team and creating a warm, welcoming environment for the children and families.
When she’s not at school, she is at home in Fairfield with her husband, their three kids, and their pup. Being a mom has strengthened her appreciation for early childhood education, and she truly values the opportunity to help little ones learn, grow, and feel safe in their care.
Pre-K Teacher: Maddie Pratt
With nine years of experience working with children, Ms. Maddie Pratt has had the joy of teaching all age groups, from infants to Pre-K. She loves watching children grow, explore, and reach new milestones, striving to create a warm, engaging classroom where they feel safe and supported.
She lives locally in Fairfield with her husband and their two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys reading and brings that same love for books into the classroom—storytime is one of her favorite parts of the day!
Lead Pre-K Teacher: Brianna Mendoza
Ms. Brianna Mendoza has always loved working with children, and as a mother herself, she understands the importance of creating a nurturing and supportive environment for them to learn and grow.
As a lead teacher, she strives to be both strong and compassionate, guiding her students with patience while setting clear expectations. She believes in fostering a classroom where children feel safe, encouraged, and excited to explore the world around them.
At home, she loves spending time with her family and enjoys cooking—especially trying new recipes to share with loved ones!
Preschool Teacher: Emma Lopez
Ms. Emma Lopez has been with L’Academy for two years and has truly enjoyed her time there. Working with both the infant and preschool age groups has been a rewarding experience. Her educational background provides her with a strong understanding of child development, helping her support her students as they grow and learn each day.
Born and raised in Fairfield, Emma loves being part of the community. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym and staying active—it’s her way of keeping up with the energy of the little ones she teaches!
Lead Preschool Teacher: Whitney Logan
Ms. Whitney Logan has been working with children for 10 years and has loved every moment of it. As a teacher in the 3–4-year-old classroom at L’Academy, she enjoys creating fun and engaging learning experiences that help little ones grow, explore, and build confidence.
She has been with L’Academy for a few years and appreciates being part of such a supportive and caring community. Having lived in Fairfield for most of her life, she believes it’s a great place to raise a family. At home, she stays busy with her two kids and four dachshunds. In her free time, she loves rollerskating and spending quality time with her family.
Lead Twos Teacher: Kelly Campbell
Ms. Kelly Campbell has been working with children for over 10 years, beginning as a nanny before transitioning into a preschool teaching role. She studied locally at Solano Community College and has always been passionate about early childhood education. Now, as the lead teacher in the twos classroom, her goal is to help students reach their developmental milestones while fostering a love for learning through play and exploration.
Outside of the classroom, Ms. Kelly enjoys hiking and spending time with her dog. She looks forward to working with her students each day and being a part of their early learning journey.
Lead Infant Teacher: Gabby Estrella
Ms. Gabby Estrella has worked with children for 20 years, both as a mother, foster mom, and preschool teacher. With over seven years of experience in early childhood education, she has a natural ability to nurture and care for little ones. She especially loves working with infants, providing them with a warm, comforting environment where they can grow and thrive.
In her free time, Ms. Gabby enjoys staying active by walking, swimming, and spending time at the beach with her family. She finds great fulfillment in being a part of a child's early years and is grateful for the opportunity to help them feel safe, loved, and supported every day.
Infant Teacher: Alicia Anfield
Ms. Alicia Anfield has two years of experience working with children, primarily with infants, and loves watching them grow and reach new milestones. She is currently working toward her educational goals in early childhood education and looks forward to continuing to learn and develop in the field.
Raised by her grandparents, Alicia enjoys spending time with her dog and has a deep love for nature and the outdoors. She especially enjoys sharing that love with children. She is excited to continue building her experience while working with diverse families and creating a nurturing environment for all.
Infant Teacher: Autumn Rogerson
Ms. Autumn Rogerson's experience working with children began in special needs support, where she discovered her passion for teaching. She enjoys helping children learn and grow while fostering their independence in a supportive environment.
A big animal lover, Ms. Autumn has a dog at home and enjoys relaxing with her pup in her free time. She also cherishes spending time with her family. She is excited to be part of a team that values each child's unique journey and looks forward to helping them thrive every day.
Floater and Cook: Angelina Sanchez
Ms. Angelina Sanchez takes great joy in preparing meals for students and loves the challenge of making large batches of delicious food. She finds it especially rewarding when children express how much they enjoy their meals.
As a mom and grandma, Ms. Angelina understands the importance of ensuring that children feel safe, cared for, and nurtured in every aspect of their day, from learning to eating. She is grateful to be part of a team that creates a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone.
Twos Teacher: Emma Anfield
Ms. Emma Anfield is a creative and positive educator who loves working with children. Raised by her grandparents, she developed a deep appreciation for family values and patience. She is known for being reliable and enjoys maintaining an organized environment both at home and in the classroom.
Outside of work, Ms. Emma enjoys exploring new places and trying new experiences, which keeps her excited and open to fresh perspectives. She looks forward to growing in her career while continuing to make a positive impact on the children she teaches.
Substitute Teacher: Theresa Lopez
Ms. Theresa Lopez grew up on a ranch in Richmond, where she developed a love for outdoor activities and hands-on projects. A black belt in Ka Ju Kenbo, she values discipline and patience, qualities she brings to her work with children.
As a mother and grandmother, Ms. Theresa understands the importance of nurturing young minds. She enjoys bike riding, softball, and gardening, and strives to create a positive, supportive environment where children can grow and learn.
Twos Teacher: Windy Jara
Ms. Windy Jara has always had a passion for working with children and finds great joy in helping them learn, grow, and explore the world around them. As a teacher in the twos classroom, she is dedicated to creating a fun and nurturing environment where little ones feel safe and supported.
Outside of work, Windy enjoys spending time with her family, including her two children. She loves hiking, listening to music, and making lasting memories with loved ones. Committed to early childhood education, she strives to provide a warm and engaging space where her students can thrive.
Substitute Teacher: Patty Holtz
Ms. Patty Holtz discovered her passion for working with young children when she began teaching swim lessons at fifteen. She loves being part of their early development and takes pride in watching them achieve important milestones. Seeing their confidence grow as they learn new skills is incredibly rewarding for her.
When she’s not working with students, Patty spends time at the barbershop. As a mother of two and a veteran, she brings patience, dedication, and a strong sense of community to everything she does. She is excited to continue supporting children on their learning journey at L’Academy.
