However, after volunteering in elementary schools to earn service hours for college, she discovered her passion for teaching.
Ms. Joselyn went on to earn a B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. In her first year working in the field, she was assigned to a younger toddler class and quickly grew to love being part of children's early development, especially teaching them their first words. She continued working with this age group for six years before joining L’Academy as a Lead Teacher in the Two’s Program, where she also collaborates with preschoolers. She loves seeing how much children's language expands at this stage and is excited not only to teach them but also to learn from them.
