Ms. Amber Munoz is a wife, a proud pet mom, and a lifelong early childhood educator. She discovered her passion for education when she enrolled in her first early childhood education courses in high school, realizing that this was her life's path. Ms. Amber believes that educators play a crucial role in shaping the future, which inspired her to dedicate her career to providing children with a safe, nurturing environment where creativity and imagination form the foundation of learning.

With 19 years of experience in early childhood education, both as a director and teacher, Ms. Amber finds great joy in working with children. She views them not only as her passion but as her biggest joy in life. She feels honored to be a part of their journeys and is excited to meet and work with families to build a community they can all be proud to pass on to the next generation.

Ms. Kylie, Assistant Director and lead teacher for our two- year-old classroom with over five years of experience in early childhood education. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

With a background in Montessori preschool education from China for three years, she joined L’Academy in March 2022. She holds an associate degree in Business Administration from Ohlone College and Early Childhood Education qualifications from Theoria Technical College.

Additionally, Ms. Kylie is an ACDEI-certified parent-child teacher and certified in Sensory Integration, an area of therapeutic practice similar to occupational therapy that helps identify, intervene, and remedy children with sensory processing issues Originally from China, she moved to the US in 2016 and she moved with her husband from the Bay Area to Sacramento in 2021.

Her interests include baking, traveling, and exploring national parks.

Ms. Ann studied accounting at American River College. During that time, she discovered the early childhood education program and realized her love for working with children. So she started taking early childhood education classes. She has been studying courses at the university for almost four years.

Ms. Ann's favorite activity is teaching children by playing fun games and interacting with them. She thinks playing with kids helps them become more social. Ms. Ann is a strong believer in improving lives through education.

She hopes to be able to transform young children into caring and capable adults. In her free time, Ms. Ann enjoys talking with her son, as well as cooking and baking. She especially enjoys hanging out and watching movies with her family.

Ms. Bah is a dedicated and fully qualified Lead Teacher at L’Academy Language Immersion Preschool, bringing over eight years of experience in early childhood education. Passionate about fostering young minds, she has worked in various educational settings, helping children develop both academically and emotionally.

Before joining L’Academy in March 2022, Ms. Bah honed her skills through roles such as working with the American River College TRIO Upward Bound program and teaching at My Preschool. She holds an Associate Degree and a Certificate in Early Childhood Development from American River College, further solidifying her expertise in nurturing and guiding young learners.

Born and raised in Liberia, she moved to the United States in 2018, bringing with her a rich cultural background and a deep love for education. Outside the classroom, she is a devoted mother and enjoys activities such as traveling, cooking, dancing, and spending quality time with children. Known for her warm and engaging nature, she takes pride in creating meaningful connections with students and families, striving to make a positive impact every day.

Ms. Erica was born into an artistic education family and holds a Bachelor’s in Art Design from Nanjing University of the Arts. She is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education and is proficient in Mandarin, holding a Level 1 certificate in the Mandarin proficiency test. With 25 years of professional experience, Ms. Erica has expertise in various areas, including animation design, children's illustration, full-stack design, art project planning, teaching children's art, and preschool education.

In 2015, she founded an art studio that has received unanimous praise from both students and parents. Her students' artwork has been recognized with awards in California International Art contests and Bay Area drawing and painting events. Ms. Erica was also honored with an award for teaching. As a mother, she deeply understands child psychology, demonstrating patience and a strong attention to nurturing children's interests and fundamental skills. Her caring approach has made her a beloved teacher among children.

Ms. Jena is excited to be your child’s preschool teacher at L'Academy Sac-Arden. She has been working in early childhood education for many years and loves helping young learners grow, explore, and discover the world around them. In her classroom, Ms. Jena focuses on hands-on learning, creativity, and building strong social-emotional skills. Through play, art, music, and interactive activities, she creates a nurturing and engaging environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to learn at their own pace.

Ms. Jena is passionate about fostering curiosity and a love of learning in young children. Outside of teaching, she enjoys crafting, reading, spending time with her children and family, and finding new ways to bring joy and discovery into the classroom. She looks forward to getting to know each child and filling their days with laughter, learning, and lots of fun!

Isabel's birthday falls on July 4th, so she always gets to enjoy fireworks on her special day. She is very family-oriented and has been working with kids since she was seventeen. In her free time, Isabel enjoys spending time with her friends but also values moments for herself. Her favorite books are the Winnie the Pooh stories, her favorite movie is Finding Nemo, and her favorite color is blue. Isabel is excited and happy to be part of the team and feels grateful to be considered part of the L'Academy family.
